Fenerbahce to sign Greenwood for former Chelsea manager
Turkish club Fenerbahce are planning to raid Manchester United for a new player this summer as they begin a new reign under former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Fenerbahce is reported to be planning to table a bid for Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood, but the forward is hesitant about working with Mourinho.
Recall that Greenwood recently concluded a loan spell with Getafe in Spanish La Liga and will now wait for the Red Devils to decide his future at the club.
Following his arrest in January 2022 on charges bothering on attempted rape, controlling behavior, and assault, Greenwood has not played for Man Utd
While all charges against him were dropped in February, plans to reintegrate him into the Red Devils’ squad were met with backlash.

Man United are said to be willing to sell Greenwood this summer, with multiple clubs from Europe and the Premier League showing interest.
According to the Sun, Fenerbahce is among the clubs willing to sign the 22-year-old in a bid to boost Mourinho’s squad for next season.
The reports added that the Man Utd player has reservations about playing under Mourinho, despite impressing the former Man United manager during training sessions in his academy days.
