Felix opens up on how Silva has surprised him this season

Chelsea star Joao Felix in a recent statement has opened up on how Brazil defender Thiago Silva has surprised him at Stamford Bridge this season.

Recall that Felix moved to Chelsea on loan from Spanish side Atletico Madrid till the end of the season and has made eight appearances for the west London side, scoring one goal.

Silva, on the other hand, is one of the most reliable Chelsea players this season, getting up to 27 appearances for Graham Potter’s side across competitions this term.

“As a player, I’d say Thiago Silva, I knew who he was and that he was very good but the first time I played here, I saw that he was something different from everybody else,” Felix said when asked to name the Chelsea player that has surprised him this season, according to Chelsea News.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are struggling to at least finish in the top six this season.
