As Chelsea continue to fight for a spot in the top four this season by grinding in positive results, one of their experienced defender is getting frustrated over lack of playing time.

Antonio Rudiger has become a prominent figure in Chelsea’s back four ever since he joined from AS Roma but things have been difficult this season.

The arrival of Thiago Silva from Paris Saint-Germain PSG and the new form of Kurt Zouma have found this season limit Rudiger to just five matches for Chelsea so far this season.

Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva have formed a good partnership with themselves and as the January transfer window draw closer, there have been rumors that Rudiger might be thinking of a way out.

The Germany International has now insisted that though it’s frustrating sitting on the bench for majority of the season, he is not thinking of moving for greener pastures in January.

According to the 27 years old defender, he is ready to fight for a place in Frank Lampard’s team.

Chelsea backline have been shipping in goals for the past few matches as their recent losses to Everton and Wolves might see some changes but those changes might not come from center back.
