Everton star open to joining Arsenal
Everton midfielder and Belgium international Amadou Onana has been linked with a transfer away from Goodison Park this January.
Arsenal have been mentioned as one of his potential destinations.
A report via Give Me Sport revealed that Onana is open to a switch to Emirates Stadium.
However, it is unlikely that a deal will happen this winter window.
Aside from Arsenal, the 22-year-old midfielder is also a target for Manchester United.
Everton paid £33 million to sign the midfielder and will demand more than £50 million for him from the interested clubs.
With the look of things, Arsenal might not be able to afford to pay over £50 million midway through the season.
This is because the Gunners have already spent substantial amounts of money to sign new players in the summer transfer window and will need to comply with the Financial Fair Play regulations as well.
On the other hand, Everton will not want to jeopardise their chances of securing safety from relegation by selling an important player in January.
