EPL: Tuchel reacts to Chelsea draw vs Man Utd

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reacted to his side’s draw vs Man Utd in the EPL at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The game, which was one of the most interesting, saw the Blues drop some points on the league as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Reacting to the game vs Man Utd, Tuchel stressed that the Red Devils defended deep in Sunday’s match.

A goal from Jadon Sancho and a penalty taken by Jorginho saw both teams play a draw.

“I was happy to coach the team. I saw a huge effort, we had so many ball recoveries and put the pressure high,” Tuchel said at his post-match press conference.

“We were brave and courageous, but they defended deep and then you need the first goal.

“If you don’t score, you always run a bit behind because you feel you’re the stronger team.”

“We had two/three changes we maybe should’ve used, but in general, I like the way we played.”

Chelsea will now move to play Watford, who defeated Man Utd recently in their next Premier League game on Wednesday
