Former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca in a recent statement ahead of his side weekend match against Brighton has hailed defender Marc Cucurella.

Maresca stated that Cucurella is a “very important” member of his squad, claiming he needs “seven players” like him in his team.

Ahead of the Blues Premier League game against the Seagull at Stamford Bridge, Maresca was asked about the Cucurella’s performance this season.

The Blues boss spoke about the 26-year-old work rate and how he mproves his teammates too.

Maresca in his press conference on Friday said Cucurella is a very important, who has something that may not be found in other players.

According to Chelsea manager, the defender is good and he is making the players around him good because he is a player who is always talking, always demanding.

Maresca said that if he could have five, six or seven players like the defender in his team, who are always talking about improving the rest, it’s very important.
