Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed he feels sorry for Norwich City coach Danie Farke after his side were thrashed 7-0 by the Blues on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues win come after Mason Mount scored a hat-trick, with Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Ben Chilwell and an own-goal rounding off the scoring at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea recent victory vs Norwich City has seen them move four-point ahead of Liverpool, which is the closest club on the Premier League table; the Reds can, however, close in on the gap depending on the outcome of their match vs Man Utd on Sunday.

Tuchel, in a post-match statement, said his squad played a good performance as they were sharp and put in a lot of effort.

According to the Blues manager, Chelsea pressed high and won many balls; they played with a high rhythm and created many chances.

Tuchel stressed that “To score seven, you also need a bit of luck and momentum, but it was a good effort.”

“I feel very sorry for Daniel Farke because we did not stop, and we didn’t want to stop. We said at half-time we wanted to keep going. It feels horrible for Daniel today – I hope he keeps his head up and puts his team back on track. He deserves it, and he’s a good guy,” Tuchel added.
