The ongoing troubles at Chelsea seem not to have affected their performance on the pitch as they recently defeated Norwich City comfortably in a 3-1 scoreline.

Chelsea, whose owner Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government, were not distracted against Norwich as they were in top form.

The game saw Trevoh Chalobah scoring the first goal at Carrow Road.

Mason Mount would then fire powerfully past Tim Krul after a good pass from Kai Havertz.

The game ended in the first half with a 2-0 scoreline in favour of the Blues.

The second half came with an opportunity for Norwich City after Chalobah was penalised for handball by a VAR review.

Teemu Pukki scored a penalty for the home side with 20 minutes to go, it was not enough to save them.

This comes as Chelsea put the game to an end after Havertz found the back of the net after a top corner from N’Golo Kante in the final minute of normal time.

Their latest win sees them remain at the third spot on the EPL table.

They will now host Newcastle United this weekend at Stamford Bridge in their next match.
