The recent reports have claimed that Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel wants the club to sign Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

A report via Marca stressed that the Blues manager wants Tchouameni to make the move to Chelsea ‘at all costs.’

Tchouameni was a player under Tuchel for a while when they were both together at French club Paris Saint-Germain manager, and the Blues manager is keen on reuniting with the French midfielder at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old midfielder was on the Blues target list last summer, but they decided not to sign him as they thought he still needed another year in the French Ligue 1.

Well, this time around, Chelsea are in for some competitions as they will have to battle Real Madrid and Manchester United, who are also interested in the midfielder.

The Blues will also have to spend high as Monaco will not let the French player go for less than 80-100 million euros.

Chelsea’s interest in Tchouameni is a surprise as Stamford Bridge is stockpiled with midfielders.

However, there are beliefs that the Blues want to sign Tchouameni as a backup for Jorginho and N’Golo Kante, who are already ageing.

It is unlike that Tchouameni will want to move to Chelsea to become a backup player.
