Despite a massive 5-0 win against Burnley over the weekend, Pep Guardiola has said football is no longer a special day.

It looks like the absent of fans at stadium doesn’t sound well to the Man City manager.

The Blues were without fans in the stadium when they defeated Burnley and it will be that way in at least five more game before there are changes.

Fans should be back in stadiums when the Blues go to Southampton on 19 December.

All of these, however, seems to be taking pleasure away for Guardiola.

According to BBC Sports, Guardiola said football was fun when games were played every three days in a routine. When there were large presence of spectators at stadiums too.

He said, “Now it is not a special day any more. What’s next? Go here, go here, go here….Of course the players want to do it. It is incredible how they run but not with joy for the situation.

“It’s like all the people and families around the world. You don’t go to restaurants, you don’t go out. Even journalists, you cannot go to the press conference and see your friends, you are at home working and it is different.

“Football is not an exception. We go, we play and that is all.”

Football like every other sports has been affected by the Coronavirus, however, there are chances there will be changes in the coming days.
