De Ligt reacts to reports linking him to Chelsea

Juventus defender, Matthijs de Ligt, is one of the many players who is on the Blues’ target list for this summer.

There have been different reports of Chelsea planning to submit a bid for the Juventus defender, however, nothing of such as happened.

And with the look of things, De Ligt possible move to Chelsea is in doubt as the Juve star offered a seven-word message to a fan on his transfer rumours to Stamford Bridge.

De Ligt has been linked with a move away from Juventus to Chelsea this summer.

As of the time of this report, the Netherlands international is on holiday in Greece and was approached by a Chelsea fan asking him regarding the possibility of joining Chelsea.

As claimed by Football London, De Ligt gave a not so clear reply.

The 22-year-old said: “I do not know, we will see!”

Chelsea are in the race to sign a new centre-back after the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

While Rudiger has joined Real Madrid last month, Christensen has been linked with moves to Barcelona.
