With Gabriel Jesus’s transfer to Arsenal now a done deal, the shirt number the Brazil star will adorn at Emirate stadium has been unveiled.

This comes as the now-former Man City star has been handed the shirt number 9 at Arsenal.

The report, however, revealed that the Brazil star is in the final stages of completing a £45 million transfer to the North London side having undergone his medicals.

On Wednesday, Jesus was spotted on camera at the Emirates Stadium donning his new shirt, Goal reports.

The same shirt number was worn by Alexandre Lacazette but became vacant after he left the club as a free agent.

Lacazette has gone on to re-joined his former club Lyon this summer, where he hopes to continue his career.

Asked from Lacazette, other players who have worn Arsenal’s No.9 shirt are Lucas Perez, Lukas Podolski, Chu-young Park, Eduardo and Julio Baptista.

The Gunners are hopeful their new signing would help them turn their fortune around next season as they compete in the EPL and Europa League.
