The latest report has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are close to announcing Former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte, is set to become the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur following the sacking of Nuno Espírito Santo.

This comes after the Hotspur sacked Santo after their recent 3-0 defeat to Man Utd over the weekend.

Like Santo, the match was also a determining factor for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he could have been fired if the Red Devils had lost in place of Tottenham.

But since Tottenham lost, Solskjaer remains in charge at Old Trafford.

Popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that Conte has already accepted Tottenham’s proposal to manage the club.

Romano made this known in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Monday morning.

He tweeted, “Antonio Conte is ready to accept Tottenham’s proposal. Talks underway and understood to be ‘at final stages’ – salary and long term contract discussed, but he seems convinced to say ‘yes’.

“Negotiations to continue in the next few hours in order to complete the agreement.”
