Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell recently opened up on his conversation with teammate Mykhailo Mudryk.

Chilwell said he told his Blues teammate that the Ukrainian will fulfil his ‘bags of potential’ at Chelsea next season.

Mudryk, who moved to the West London side in the January transfer window has failed to impress within the first few months at Stamford Bridge.

Recall that the Blues hijack Mudryk from Arsenal and paid the whooping sum of £89 million to secure his move from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.

However, Mudryk seems to be improving under the Blues’ new manager Mauricio Pochettino, having put up an impressive display during the preseason tour.

Chilwell believes the winger can justify his price tag next season.

“I just see endless bags of potential that hasn’t been fulfilled yet. I’ve told him that; I’m not just saying it,” Chilwell told Chelsea’s official website.

“I’ve told him he hasn’t fulfilled that yet for one reason or another. I literally had a conversation with him today after training in the changing room.”
