Chelsea’s Nkunku decides on joining Man City

Barely a few days to the end of the January transfer window and Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku has continued to be linked with exit away from the club.

Nkunku is said to open to signing for Manchester United as talks continue with the Blues over a swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho.

It is no news that the Blues and Serie A side, Napoli have expressed interests in signing Garnacho this January.

However, so far only Napoli have taking a step by submitting an offer for the Argentina winger, which was turned down by Man United.

Like Nkunku, Garnacho has been reported to favour the option of staying in the Premier League instead of moving to the Serie A, but the Blues are yet to reach an agreement with Man United.

Nkunku, on the other hand, has struggled for regular game time under Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca this season.

So far this season, he has started only three Premier League games, with Maresca preferring Nicolas Jackson.

The Red Devils are reported to have asked Chelsea about Nkunku’s situation, with Bayern Munich also in the face.

Sky Germany reports that Chelsea and Man United are now in talks over both Nkunku and Garnacho swap deal.
