Chelsea may have to focus on signing a striker from another club after their hope of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was dashed with the report that their approach has stalled.

The Blues, who are keen on signing a new striker before the end of the transfer window, now face the difficult task to sign the Barcelona star.

A report via talkSPORT revealed this comes after the news that Man United joined the race to secure his signature.

The Red Devils seem willing to up their fee ahead of what Chelsea  were offering to sign the former Arsenal striker.

Chelsea may also up their game by increasing their offer to sign Aubameyang or focus elsewhere this summer.

With a few days left to the end of the summer transfer window, it is going to be a hot chase between both EPL clubs.

In another report, Everton manager Frank Lampard has given an update on Chelsea target Anthony Gordon and according to him, nothing has changed.
