Chelsea’s manager Enzo Maresca’s target for 24/25 season
Chelsea newly appointed manager Enzo Maresca has revealed his target for the upcoming 24/25 season as he takes charge of the club.
Maresca revealed this in a statement on Monday during his first official interview as the manager of the west London club.
The Italian, who arrived at Stamford Bridge as a replacement fornMauricio Pochettino, said his target is to improve all Chelsea players as well as the team.
Maresca expressed his excitement to be at Chelsea as he said he was at the club because he is convinced the squad is very good and full of talent.
“I always say the same: if you are able to improve players then you are able to improve the team,” he said.
Recall that Chelsea amid their struggles last season managed to finish at the 6th spot on the league table under Pochettino.
They also earned a spot to play in the European tournament, which had believe was enough to keep Pochettino at Stamford Bridge.
Under Maresca, it is believed that the Blues wants to rebuild their team to compete for trophies.
Meanwhile, Chelsea remain busy in the summer transfer market as they remain keen to sign a new striker for their new manager.
