Chelsea’s decision on Felix’s future revealed

Chelsea have taken a decision regarding Felix Joao’s future at the club.

Recall that the Portugal star moved to Stamford Bridge on loan from Spanish club Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window.

While Atletico want around €100 million for the midfielder this summer, the Blues are reluctant to pay such an amount but will consider another loan deal.

This comes as m Manchester United have also joined the race to sign Felix from Madrid.

Felix has impressed at Chelsea since arriving at West London, which made the club believe there is more to come from him and are interested in signing him on a permanent transfer this summer.

However, Chelsea did not meet Atletico Madrid’s 100m euros valuation.

A report via the Daily Mail reports that the Blues will enquire about taking the midfielder on a season-long loan instead.

They will have to hope Man Utd doesn’t pay Madrid’s £100 million valuation.
