Chelsea summer signing Pedro Neto is keen on working on his skills as he hope to impress manger Enzo Maresca.

Since his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Neto bas been unable to hold down a regular starting spot under Maresca.

This is unlike life for him at his former club where he was a key player.

Recall that Neto completed a summer transfer move to Chelsea when he was presented with the opportunity to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Like most of the the Blues players under their new owners, Todd Boehly, Chelsea parted with quite a heavy amount, paying £54m to get Neto to move to Stamford Bridge.

So far this season, he has made four starts and three substitutes while scoring his first goal for Chelsea during their recent outing against Barrow in the EFL cup.

Neto in a statement via Evening Standard said he recognise the importance of putting efforts in training to get game time.

The winger acknowledged that life at Wolves is different from what it looks at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea is a bigger club.

Meanwhile, Neto will be hoping to make an appearance for Chelsea when they play against Brighton this weekend in the Premier League.
