Hope for Arsenal, Chelsea, others as Man City’s chances of EPL win drops

Former Liverpool Defender, Jamie Carragher recently made changes about his prediction about how the Premier League’s title race will end this season.

Carragher who had previously named Man City as the favourites to win the EPL had a change of mind after Manchester City midfielder Rodri sustained a long-term injury.

Recall that Dodri has been on the consistent for Man City’s trophy haul in recent years, having won four Premier League titles in a row.

However, the update confirming that the Spain star sustained an ACL injury during their Premier League 2-2 draw with Arsenal last weekend.

Carragher had tipped Man City to go on to easily win their fifth title in a row, but with Rodri out, he believes it would be difficult for the Red Devils to win.

Speaking with Stick to Football, Carragher said that he wasn’t certain about Pep Guardiola’s men lifting the trophy, insisting that the odds are now 50/50.

Carragher diss he sf never lose when he’s playing. I think having Rodri out is more of a blow for the Champions League than the Premier League.

He recalled Rodri’s performance which include playing in the quarter-finals, semi-finals,sitting midfielder, going away from home and controlling the games.
