Chelsea will today host Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in one of the most exciting matches in the EPL this weekend.

The match is an important one for the two clubs who are only separated by one point on the EPL table as it will determine who will be able to close the game between them and Man City, who are league toppers.

Reacting to the match, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed his expectations.

According to Klopp, he expects a strong Chelsea side to face Liverpool despite the injury affecting their squad and positive COVID-19 problems.

Klopp made this known during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Chelsea.

“I expect a really strong Chelsea side because, with all the struggles they have obviously injury-wise and COVID-wise, which I don’t know exactly about, they still have obviously a proper football team,” Klopp said.

He added, “Leicester gave us a good example: when it’s really intense, you have some problems, all these kinds of things, if you put a proper shift in, there’s always a chance in football and that’s what we will try as well.”
