Chelsea Urged to Cancel Manchester United Transfer Agreement

Chelsea have reportedly been advised to “find a way” to cancel an existing transfer agreement with Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Under the current arrangement, England international Jadon Sancho—who joined Chelsea last summer on a season-long loan—will be signed permanently next summer for a fee estimated between £20-25m.

Manchester United acquired Sancho for £73m from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, but the 24-year-old has struggled to find form at Old Trafford. Having grown up as a Chelsea supporter, Sancho joined the Blues in hopes of revitalising his career, though he has managed just two goals this season.

Former Manchester United and England defender Paul Parker has criticised the decision to sign Sancho, suggesting that Chelsea may come to regret the deal.

Parker also condemned Sancho’s recent comment on Instagram—where he posted “freedom” in response to Marcus Rashford’s Aston Villa debut—as a clear dig at his parent club.

Speaking to MyBettingSites, Parker remarked, “Jadon Sancho reminds me of a weak little boy who is using someone else to air his grievances.”

Further updates on this developing transfer saga are awaited as both clubs navigate their respective strategies ahead of the next season.
