Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has come under criticisms this season as several pundits have called on the Blues to sign a replacement.

The Blues former defender Jason Cundy is one of those who wants Chelsea to sign a replacement for Sanchez.

Cundy in a recent Statement urged his former club to make a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher

Recall that Kelleher was in action for the Reds during their weekend clash against Chelsea last weekend.

He helped Liverpool to beat the West London club 2-1 and has become a bit of a nemesis to the Blues.

Kelleher is Liverpool’s number two goalkeeper and does not always get game time, which he could be assured of if he considers a move to Stamford Bridge.

Despite being a second choice at Anfield, Kelleher has been impressive and Cundy wants to see him at Stamford Bridge.

“Whenever I see Kelleher play he looks top drawer,” Cundy said on talkSPORT.

Cundy stated that the goalie too good to be a number two.

Meanwhile, Chelsea signed a new goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen in the summer transfer window but he has been second choice behind Sanchez this season.

Jorgensen is, however, expected to start against Panathinaikos tonight in the Conference League.
