Ahead of the summer transfer window set to commence in a few weeks from now, the latest report has revealed that Chelsea could once again make move for West Ham midfielder, Declan Rice.

Recall that the Blues had made moves to sign Rice last season under Frank Lampard as coach but were unable to complete the deal.

While many believed the departure of Lampard at Stamford Bridge means an end to the race for Rice, the latest report has revealed that the Blues current coach, Thomas Tuchel is a big admirer of the West Ham star and could resurrect interest for him this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Tuchel is also a huge admirer of the central midfielder and is keen for his side to push for a move during this summer’s transfer window.

The report added that the Blues could offer Tammy Abraham as part of the deal with West Ham thought to value the 22-year-old in the region of £90m.

Chelsea will however face competition from the likes of Man City and Man Utd who are also in the race to sign Rice, who has scored once and provided one assist in 34 appearances at club level this season.
