Fernandinho reportedly sign one year deal with Man City

Man City have reportedly signed a new deal with Fernandinho ahead of the summer transfer window.

The reports revealed that Fernandinho agreed to a new deal that will see him remain at Man City for another 12 months.

Fernandinho has become a key player at Etihad stadium, despite his age, he made 34 appearances for the Citizens in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and creating one assist.

According to The Times, the experienced midfielder will stay at Man City for one more year, having agreed on a new deal until June 2022.

The report claimed that the Citizens see Fernandinho’s leadership as invaluable and are determined to keep him at the club for another 12 months.

Throughout his career at Man City, the South American has made 348 appearances since his arriving Etihad stadium from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013.

He has won four Premier League titles and six EFL Cup trophies.

And hopefully, he can add the Uefa Champions League trophy to the list if Man City can defeat Chelsea in the final set to take place on the 29th of May in Porto, Portugal.

In another report, Man City will be bidding farewell to their top striker, Sergio Aguero as he moves to Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
