Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud has finally made a decision on his role at Stamford Bridge as he continues to be linked with a move away from the club on deadline day.

Oliver Giroud has been having a mixed season at Chelsea with his spell under Frank Lampard starting on a low point when the league started.

However, the world cup winner was able to fight his way back into the team after some impressive performance which includes a four goals cameo against Sevilla in the Champions League.

He started the first game of Thomas Tuchel’s era at Chelsea after Frank Lampard was sacked but failed to play in their last games against Burnley.

There are reports that Thomas Tuchel has decided to give Werner a starting spot at Chelsea with Tammy Abraham set to be his vice on the bench.

According to The Athletic, Giroud has now decided to stay at Chelsea as he is happy to see out the rest of the season with the London club.

The world cup winner was linked with a move to AC Milan but the Seria A giant signed former Juventus and Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic on a free transfer.
