Chelsea star issues strong warning to teammates ahead of time against Wolves

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has issued a strong warning to his team-mates as he noted that they have no time to feel sorry for themselves after their loss to Everton.

Frank Lampard’s team crumbled to a one nil defeat to Everton in their weekend Premier League clash.

The blues will now be facing a tough team in Wolves side that have become a torn in the flesh of top sides for the past few season.

Coming off a defeat in the hands of Aston Villa, Wolves will be eager to make a statement against the blues, a move Mason Mount is wary of.

Mason Mount accepts that the Premier league giants were not good enough against Carlo Ancelotti’s men and he has urged his team-mates to focus on bouncing back as soon as possible.

Speaking to club official website after the game, Mount noted that Everton are a tough team and they make it very hard for any team.

Mount agreed that Chelsea didn’t start the game well enough like they’ve been playing their past games and then got punished by a clinical team in Everton.

He States that from 1-0 down it is a difficult game and so the blues will have to look at how they started and correct that for the next game against Wolves.

Not ready to heap blame on anyone, Mount noted that these things happen sometimes but the team want to be pushing for number one.

He noted that the team have to look at where things went wrong against Everton and really try to correct it for the next game because the games come thick and fast and it’s another away game [at Wolves] so they need to ready for that.

With the Blues blessed with talented forwards, Mount added that they are always going to create chances but in their game against Everton they didn’t put the chances away but that is sometimes how it goes and they have to look towards the next game.
