Chelsea star James Reece spoke on his inability to find the back of the net for the Blues during their game vs Man Utd on Thursday.

Recall that Marcos Alonso scored the opener for Chelsea in the second half of the match before Cristiano Ronaldo scored an equaliser.

James nearly got the goal he deserved with 10 minutes to play, too, after he latched onto Mason Mount’s flick, and hit a curling left-footed effort onto the woodwork from the edge of the area.

Speaking of that attempt, Reece expressed his disappointment at not beating Spaniard David de Gea in the host’s net.

‘I knew straight away that I probably should have scored,’ he admitted. ‘Life goes on and we have another game soon but it’s a tough point today.

‘It could have been wor,se, and we could have left with nothing. We have to take it, put it behind us and move forward.’

James is expected to return to action for the Blues when they take on Everton this weekend in the Premier League.
