Chelsea star compared to De Bruyne

Former Arsenal star Martin Keown has compared Chelsea star Cole Palmer to his former Man City colleague Kevin de Bruyne.

Keown made this known after Palmer scored the lone goal during Chelsea’s important 1-0 win against Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The former Arsenal player believes the England star has ‘helicopter vision’ which is an attribute De Bruyne possesses.

Keown said (via talkSPORT): “Palmer played a De Bruyne-like pass, it’s the kind of pass we hadn’t seen in this game yet. Palmer sees these opportunities on the pitch.

“We talk about a helicopter vision of the game from De Bruyne, and I think Palmer has that as well.”

Recall that Palmer left Manchester City to join Chelsea in the last summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s recent win over Fulham have seen them move to the 8th spot on the league table.
