Chelsea are ready to reject offers from clubs in the Premier League and Championship for defender Fikayo Tomori as they are eager to keep the young defender.

Fikayo Tomori made a breakthrough in Chelsea squad last season as he saw enough game time to show his capabilities under Frank Lampard.

However, things have been different this season as the arrival of Thiago Silva and the good form of Kurt Zouma has seen the England international become a fringe player.

Tomori is now behind Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger in the pecking.

His situation has been studied by top Premier League side who are eager to sign him on a loan deal till the end of the season.

Chelsea have now decided to keep hold after Andreas Christensen kneel injury, an injury that might see him miss some important matches.

According to The Sun, Chelsea are eager to have a team that can compete at all competitions and are not joking with their backline.

Tomori is eager to go out on loan as the likes of Newcastle, Leeds and some teams are monitoring his situation over a potential move.

He will be eager to have a game time when Chelsea play Morcambe in the FA Cup third round on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
