Chelsea set to hijack Arsenal target

Chelsea are keen on signing a new player to bolster their attack before the summer transfer closes.

The latest report has linked Chelsea with moves for Mohammed Kudus as they are set to hijack him from Arsenal.

According to the report, the Blues have stepped up their interest by reaching out to Dutch club Ajax to express their interest in signing the player.

The report revealed Ghana star is now close to agreeing personal terms with the Blues.

Dutch legend, Marco van Basten in a recent statement had said Ghana forward is much better than Manchester United’s Antony.

Apart from Chelsea, Brighton are also interested in signing the attacking midfielder to the Premier League.

A report via Athletic revealed that Chelsea are ready to hijack the move as talks have already taken place with the player and his representative with Kudus keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.

Ajax are said to have fixed a price tag of around £40 million for the 22-year-old forward.
