Chelsea ready to spend €77 million to bring in this top rated player in the summer

Like the Blues did under Frank Lampard during the summer transfer window, they would be spending heavily  the same under new manager, Thomas Tuchel.

According to the latest report, Chelsea are set to open discussion for the top rated player, Erling Haaland in the summer from Dortmund.

According to a report by WinSports, as cited by the Daily Express, Chelsea are planning to go all-out for the Norway international this summer in an effort to strengthen Tuchel’s attacking options.

Haaland, who once played for Red Bull Salzburg has been exceptional this season as he already has 25 goals to his name in 24 games in all competitions.

Dortmund have fixed a release clause in his contract which is worth around £66million however, not does become active until the summer of 2022.

This means if Chelsea are serious about signing him in the forthcoming summer, they must be prepared to spend heavily on him.

Considering Chelsea past when it comes to pleasing and strengthening a new coach, the Blues will make that move to sign him this summer as the report revealed that they are already preparing their opening offer.
