Chelsea have reached an agreement for a new striker in the person of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona.

The latest report revealed Aubameyang is set to fly-in to London to undergo his medical after Chelsea reached an agreement with Barcelona worth £10.3m plus Marcos Alsonso.

So far this season, the Blues’ performance have not been all that impressive owing to the fact that they lack a striker.

Currently, they are ninth in the Premier League table with only six goals from their five outings.

This promoted them to make a move for a new striker to strengthen their attack.

And Aubameyang has been touted as one striker that could help them turns things around.

After weeks of talks and discussion with the Catalans, Aubameyang is set to join Chelsea where he would reunite with his former manager Thomas Tuchel, who he trained under at German club Borussia Dortmund.

Aubameyang’s return to the Premier Leagues comes months after he left Arsenal.

The Gabon international is expected to sign a two-year contract with Chelsea, plus an option to extend by a further year.
