Chelsea outcast set to terminate contract with the Blues as he plans to join Portuguese club
Chelsea midfielder Lucas Piazon is eager to end his adventure with the Premier League side by terminating his contract and move to a Portuguese club.
Lucas Piazon was one of the best youngsters in Europe when Chelsea signed him from Sao Paulo in 2012 as he was touted the new ‘Kaka’.
However, after going on loan to seven different club, Lucas Piazon’s future at Chelsea looks more like over and there has been reports that he will be heading back to the bridge to sort it out.
Currently on his second loan move at Rio Ave, Lucas Piazon has been linked to some Premier League clubs but it seems he does not want to come back to England as he’s planning on moving to Portugal.
According to a report from Portuguese news outlet SIC, Lucas is willing to terminate his contract with Chelsea so he can join Braga for free.
The report also claimed that the deal is quite close to becoming official with both parties just trying to sort out some minor details that might not take up to a week.
Lucas Piazon will be eager to rejuvenate his career at Braga if he eventually makes the move as he joins the long list of Chelsea youth players that failed to make a mark at Stamford Bridge.
