Chelsea, Manchester United keen on signing Sevilla defender

Chelsea and Manchester United have both showing an interest in Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.

The youngster appears to be certain that his long-term future will lie away from Sevilla. He can possibly play for an European giants – and connections with Manchester United have persisted for quite a while.

As per La Colina De Nervion, Chelsea have now entered the race to sign Jules Kounde.

The Premier League giants are searching for a long-term replacement to Thiago Silva. The Brazilian is out of contract toward the end of the season, but has dazzled and may procure a one-year extension.

Chelsea will still need to find a younger competition for the Brazilian and they don’t come far superior to Kounde.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are said to have registered their interest, leaving Sevilla prepared for a bidding war between the two heavyweight Premier League clubs. But, that is something that will really be welcomed by the Spanish side, who could raise huge funds as a result.
