Chelsea manager insist Arsenal are more ready but…

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in a recent statement has said Arsenal are more ready this season.

Recall that Arsenal defeated Chelsea in a 4-0 scoreline during the pre-season friendly.

‘When I said that Arsenal seemed more ready [after our pre-season friendly], I speak with my words – they were more ready. They played in pre-season with more or less the same starting 11. They had one or two signings to complete their group and they had a clear idea of what they want. From there, they had a team to build and of course also an atmosphere and attitude. We suffered against them but there were reasons we were not at this point, which we have to accept.’

But Tuchel is hopeful the Blues can handle them especially since they signed Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella.

In another news, Arsenal commenced their first opening game this summer with an interesting form as they defeated Crystal Palace with a 2-0 scoreline.

The Gunners have been predicted to finish in the top four this season.
