Chelsea have joined the race for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe who is keen on leaving the club.

Mbappe, who has a year left on his contract with the French Ligue 1 giant has refused to extend his contract and is determined to force his transfer from the club.

Not wanting to lose him for free next summer, PSG have since put Mbappe up for sale and have removed him from their Asia tour squad.

While Spanish club Real Madrid are widely reported to be Mbappe’s preferred destination, the latest twist in the drama reports in France claim Chelsea are interested.

Although Chelsea are yet to submit any deal, RMC Sport reports that they have entered the race to sign the France forward.

The reports also revealed ‘at least one other’ English club has shown interest.

Saudi Arabia have also been linked with the move, with Al-Hilal reportedly ready to offer Mbappe huge €400million wages across two years and a €200m transfer fee to PSG.
