Chelsea handed boost in team selection ahead of game Vs Liverpool
Chelsea have been impressive this season under their new manager Enzo Maresca.
Aside from their first defeat to Manchester City in their opening game, the Blues have maintained a top form until their recent 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest before the international break.
The match also led to a brawl which almost affected the Blues striker Nicolas Jackson’s chances of playing against Liverpool after the international break.
While Chelsea and Nottingham Forest will be fined for being unable to control their players, a recent report revealed that the officials operating the technology did not have all the camera angles available to them that have since been provided.
The Football Association in a statenent on Tuesday said that both clubs had been charged for failing to control their players, while giving them until October 10 to provide their responses.
Amid the awaiting punishment, it has been revealed that Jackson will not face any charge for his part in the scenes that developed in the 88th minute of the contest.
This means the Senegal international will be available to play in Chelsea’s next Premier League fixture against current Premier League toppers Liverpool on October 20 at Anfield as the Blues hope to bounce back with a win.
