Chelsea given a boost in the pursuit of prolific 21-year-old goalscorer
Premier League outfit, Chelsea have been given a huge boost in their pursuit of Erling Haaland next summer as legendary manager insists he might leave Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland is currently one of Europe’s best goal scorers as he has been scoring for fun in the Bundesliga.
The Norway international form has been monitored by top clubs across Europe but none were able to convince Dortmund last summer.
With Chelsea ending up with their former player in Romelu Lukaku, the blues are set to be eyeing Haaland for a potential move to Stamford Bridge next summer.
Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger while speaking to German news outlet Bild has now insisted that Haaland’s move will happen due to the economic power of the Premier League that is too strong.
Manchester United were also linked with Haaland but the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at the club means they might not pursue the deal.
Manchester City are also on the lookout for a striker after they failed to land Harry Kane this summer with the England international opting to stay at Tottenham Hotspur for another season.
