Chelsea defender among players tipped to leave over uncertain future

Chelsea centre-back defender Tosin Adarabioyo has been tipped among those who could leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The defender who signed for Chelsea on a free transfer from Fulham, has faced a difficult challenge with the Blues, struggling to secure a regular starts.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2024, the 28-year-old has made 70 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and creating one assist.

According to BBC, Adarabioyo, who once captained Manchester City youth team may be among those leaving the Blues this summer as the club aims to restructure its squad under manager of Xabi Alonso.

Recall that Chelsea struggled in the 2025/2026 season, missing out from European competitions despite having previously won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League.

Ahead of the start of a new season, Tosin will want the Blues to clarify his future with and regain his career momentum.

We will have to wait till the summer transfer window so see if Chelsea will put the defender up for sale and clubs who would show interest in him.
