Chelsea have reportedly commenced discussion with Italian side Juventus over a deal for their attacker Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

The Blues are keen on signing a new striker for their manager Mauricio Pochettino who wants a new striker, midfielder and goalkeeper in his squad ahead of next season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Juve’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna was in London over the weekend for talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a permanent deal for Dejan Kulusevski.

The report also claimed that Manna also met with Chelsea’s chiefs to discuss Vlahovic’s signing.

After they missed out on the opportunity to play Champions League football due to their 10-point deduction in Serie A, the Old Ladies are open to selling Vlahovic in order to bolster their finances but want €80 million (£68.7million) transfer fee for the player.

In 2022, Juve splashed €75million (£62.8million) to sign Vlahovic from Fiorentina in the January transfer window.

So far, Vlahovic has scored 23 goals in 63 matches for Juventus.
