Manchester United are not giving up on their desire to sign Chelsea star Mason Mount this summer as the recent reports revealed both clubs will continue talks this week with a view to resolving the midfielder’s future.

This comes after Man United have already seen three bids for the England international, with the last of which was worth £55m rejected by the Blues.

While the Red Devils had threatened to walk away, it seems they would be meeting with Chelsea, who want £70m to sell Mount.

Chelsea are said to have suggested a counter-proposal worth £65m but there are speculations that the Blues could accept £60m would get the job done.

Further discussion between both clubs will be held soon with the aim of reaching a compromise as Man United remain determined to sign Mount this summer.

We will have to wait to see how this will play out for Chelsea who have seen a number of their key players leave this summer.
