With summer transfer window some few weeks away, Chelsea have been advised to do away with one of their strikers in the person of Timo Werner.

This was made public by former Aston Villa player, Gabriel Agbonlahor, who described Werner as being erratic.

This is coming amidst his not so good performance at Chelsea which was also visible during the clash vs. Leicester City in the FA Cup final over the weekend.

According to Agbonlahor, he stressed that the Blues striker didn’t make any impact during. The match as he advised Chelsea to make moves to sign a better striker when the transfer window commences.

Recall that the 25-year-old joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig for £53m last summer.

“I have tried to give him [Timo Werner] the benefit of the doubt as it’s his first season, but the more I am seeing of him he is making the wrong decision,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.

He noted that Werner seems a bit too erratic and Chelsea especially with their history with the likes of Didier Drogba and the strikers they have had in the past, they need to go out and buy a big striker who can score goals and turn up in the big games.

There are possibilities that Werner could be loaned out this summer.
