With the International break currently on, Man Utd striker Edison Cavani has expressed dissatisfaction over the decision taken by the club management.

This comes as Man Utd prevented players from countries on the UK red zone list from travelling to their home country to participate in international matches.

Cavani falls in this category; while he expresses his unhappiness, he, however, revealed that he respects the club’s decision.

He said in a statement with the press, ”We’re exposed to decisions that are made in the organizations of certain tournaments and leagues and either of the two decisions is detrimental to us.”

Cavani stressed that although he does not get rich with the national team, he, however, has a commitment to himself and a moral commitment to defend his country.

“We make wealth by wearing the national team’s jersey,” the striker told AUFTV, via El Observador, translated by Sport Witness.

This comes after he handed his No 7 shirt to Cristiano Ronaldo, who returned to Old Trafford this summer from the Italian side Juventus.

Cavani will now put on the No 21 jersey, which he wears for Uruguay at Old Trafford, till the rest of the season.
