Carabao League final: How Chelsea could start vs Liverpool
The Blues will return to action on Sunday evening when they take on Liverpool in the Carabao League final at Wembley stadium.
Ben Chilwell happens to be the only Chelsea player on the sideline as Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi have returned to the squad.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will have to make a tough decision as to who to start between Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.
At the back, Tuchel is expected to start Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Marcos Alonso could also start on the left flank for the Blues. Jorginho is expected to return and join N’Golo Kante in the midfield.
Mason Mount could start ahead of Hakeem Ziyech on the right while Christian Pulisic will return to the left flank.
Tuchel may again drop Romelu Lukaku on the bench after Kai Havertz gave an impressive performance vs Lille in the UCL during the week.
Chelsea possible starting lineup: Kepa; Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kante, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic; Havertz
