Broja close to leaving Chelsea

Armando Broja is the next player that could leave Chelsea this summer transfer window amid reports that Burnley have reached an agreement to sign him.

With the arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer, Broja’s game chances at Chelsea has further reduced with manager Enzo Maresca having no plans for him next season.

Due to this Broja has been left looking for a new club that can give him the chance to play regular football at a high level.

Journalist Fabrice Hawkins in a report disclosed that the 23-year-old is now on the verge of completing a transfer to newly-promoted Burnley.

The Clarets are said to have reached an agreement with Chelsea over a permanent transfer, with the striker ready to sign on a long-term contract.

Broja has been granted permission to travel to Burnley to complete the first part of his medical ahead of the proposed transfer.

The striker who is a product of the Blues academy will leave Stamford Bridge after scoring three goals in 38 first-team games.

Hopefully, he would get a chance to revive his career at Burnley who will also be competing for Premier League title next season.
