Chelsea and Arsenal have been handed a major boost as Napoli newly appointed manager Antonio Conte has confirmed Victor Osimhen’s exit from the club this summer transfer window.

The Gunners have been linked with several players this summer including Osimhen as Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta plans to bolster his attack ahead of next season.

Former Chelsea manager Conte made headlines after he revealed that there is an agreement between Napoli and the Nigerian to let him leave the club.

This was after Conte had prevented several players from leaving the Italian side this summer.

While addressing the press at his unveiling, the Italian disclosed that unlike Kvara, Di Lorenzo, Anguissa, Lobotka, on which he had placed an absolute veto not to leave, the same doesn’t apply to Osimhen.

He pointed out that the situation regarding Osimhen’s agreements is different from all the others.

Conte added that he can only assist but can’t force him to remain at Napoli.

This is a major boost for Chelsea and Arsenal who are keen on signing the striker.

Osimhen has also expressed interest to leave the Italian Serie A league to play in the English Premier League.
