Boehly admits to making mistake at Chelsea

American billionaire and Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly in a recent statement has admitted to making mistakes during his first 12 months at the West London club.

Recall that Boehly took over after Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s 19-year reign ended in 2022.

Following the takeover, Boehly went on an unprecedented spending spree on new players and sacked two managers.

Despite splashing millions, Boehly will end his first season at Chelsea without silverware, in addition to the fact that the club will also not be playing European football next season.

This has left Chelsea fans frustrated as tempers boiled over when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Brighton at Stamford Bridge last weekend, as they confronted Boehly.
