Former Chelsea defender, Ashley Cole has applauded Arsenal player, Bukayo Saka for his performance in the Gunners squad.

Cole however stressed that he feels for Saka as he is being abused by every coach for his versatility in the team.

This is coming after Arsenal’s latest win vs. Chelsea in their premier league clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

I think he’s a shining light in this Arsenal team,” Cole told Sky Sports.

Cole noted that Saka plays with courage, fearless at times but he stated that his failure to cement down one position is wrong.

“As a manager, you love it, because he’s adaptable, he can play in three or four positions, which is brilliant.

But I just feel for him at times because he’s kind of used and abused,” Cole said.

When asked what he considers Saka’s best position, Cole replied: “I like him from the right but not as a wing-back.

“I like to see him in the attacking areas, where he can cut in on his left foot, combine, and he’s got that smart little movement to get in behind with his pace as well.”

Arsenal’s latest win vs. Chelsea is a threat to the Blues spot on the EPL table.
