Arteta reacts to Arsenal’s rumour interest in Mbappe
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reacted to the club’s rumoured interest in France star Kylian Mbappe this summer transfer window.
It is no longer news that Mbappe has been put up for sale by the Ligue 1 giants PSG this summer after the report of them handing him a € 1 billion contract.
The recent report has revealed the 24-year-old will not travel with the rest of his PSG teammates for their pre-season tour of Asia.
PSG may have dropped Mbappe out of their squad because they believe the French forward has already agreed a deal to join Spanish club Real Madrid as a free agent next summer.
However, aside from Real Madrid, other clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the France superstar.
When asked about Mbappé’s chances on the market, Arteta told reporters: “You know I never talk about players that don’t play for our club. I’m sorry.”
